During the months from October to April, I normally am very susceptible to the barometric swings as storms roll in. This has the effect of greatly increasing the amount of time that I sleep and greatly reducing the amount of time that I have to deal with everything else.

So please keep this in mind in your correspondence with me. I have a deep commitment to try to get to every e-mail that conforms to my contact limitations, but my resources are extremely limited. There were about 30,000 men in 7th Armored Division and attached units in WWII, and if even a small fraction of these men or their family members or researchers send me e-mails, it is way more than I can keep up with.

So please if you don't hear from me for several months, send your e-mail again. I am doing everything within my very limited power to respond to you and to every other person who wants me to respond to them. But there are just a whole lot more of you than there are of me. Do not take it personally if I do not respond to you. Just be patient and send the message again in a month or two if I have not responded.
