To the Register of the County of Addington -- A memorial to be Registered pursuant to an act of the Legislature of the Province of upper Canada for the Public Registry of Deeds Conveyances, writs and other incumberances- which shall be made or may affect any Lands Tenements or Hereditaments with the Province

--- This Indenture of Bargan & Sale bearing date the ninth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & Eleven, Made Between James Ward & Sarah Ward of Lockborough, Yeoman & Peter Delay of the Township of Ernest Town, County of Addington, Yeoman, of the Other part, purporting to be a Release of all that Certain parcel or tract of land Situate, lying & being in the Township of Ernest Town aforesaid, in the Midland District & Province of Upper Canada, Containing by admeasurement one hundred acres of land, being Composed of number thirty three and thirty four half of the two hundred acres of the rear of the Said lots aforementioned, which Said one hundred acres of land are butted and Bounded or may otherwise be known as follows, that is to Say, Commencing in the Seventh Concession line in the rear of the said one hundred acres of Said north End andd Continue Southwards one hundred acres at the Centre of the Said lot. Togeether with a house, with all woods, way, waters and Water Courses, with all and Singular the Hereditaments and appurtenances thereto Belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the Said Tract or parcel of Land & premises with the appurtenances unto the Said Peter Delay his heirs and Assigns for Ever, which said Deed of Bargain & Sale is witnessed y John Miller and Andrew Ransier both of Kingston, Yeoman, in the Midland District Provice of Upper Canada, and is hereby Requested to be Registered by Me the Said Peter Delay the Grantee thereof -- In witness wherof the Said parties have ?hereby? to Set their hands and Seals this Ninth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eleven at Township of Kingston int he Midland District and Province of upper Canada.
