When Rosalie (Hosek) Koutecky died and then her husband Frantisek Koutecky died, both in Chicago, leaving their three children orphaned, the children were sent to live with Frank Hosek in Wisconsin.

The birth records of Hvozdany show that Rosalie and Frank were both born, 4 years apart and to different parents, in the same house, Hvozdany #3.

Frank's parents were Frantisek HOSEK and Marie PRIBYLhttp://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/en/2068/352 ). The elder Frantisek was the son of Jan HOSEK (of Hvozdany 3) and Marie SLACHOVA (of Hvozdany 2).

Rosalie was apparently baptized as Marie (  http://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/en/2069/94 ). Her parents were Matej HOSEK and Rosalie SKALAKA. Matej was the son of Frantisek HOSEK and Rosina TABEROVA. Frantisek's parents ( http://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/en/2066/290 ) were Jan HOSEK and Marie TABEROVA.

Further complicating things, there was a Jakub HOSEK who married a Roaslie SLACHOVA and had a son Frantisek at Hvozdany #7 on 14 Dec 1850 ( http://digi.ceskearchivy.cz/en/2067/14 ) . They also had a daughter Barbora.

So while Frank and Roslie were clearly connected somehow, I still have not figured out just what the connection was.
