STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION - last updated 7 Nov 2013

7 Nov 2013 update ... more work is still needed, but I want to at least at this discovery. Richard Quintrell who married Mary Rodda were already in the tree with their daughter Mary. But I have discovered that their daughter Grace also came to St Blazey, where she married, had her children and died as Grace Gundrie.

The Henry Quintrell family (wife Jenefer - also known as Jane) lived in St. Blazey in the 1780's. The Francis Johns-Mary Quintrell family appears to have moved from Breage to St. Blazey about 1825.

The following St. Blazey Quintrell baptism, marriage and buria records were found in the Cornwall Family History Society research database, indicating that some of the other members of the Quintrell family also came to St. Blazey.

CENSUS

The following additional records have been found in the censuses.

1851 - Family of Francis Johns &  Mary Quintrell

1861 - Family of Francis Johns &  Mary Quintrell

There may be more census records. I have not done an exhaustive search for them.

These records are placed her in order to try to figure out if and how these Quintrell people are related.

Most specifically, this document was begun in order to try to identify who the Jane Quintrell was who was buried at St. Blazey 30 July 1829 at age 71 (thus birth about 1758). At this time, I have not yet been able to definitively identify her, though I suspect that she may have been the Jane BENNETT who married Henry QUINTRELL at St. Blazey 5 Jul 1783 and then appears as Jenefer in the 5 baptisms. There are three Jane BENNETTs, all baptized in Camborne in 1757 and 1759, who are the most likely candidates. Thus, I am tentatively carrying this burial as being Jane Bennett. I have found no burial for Henry Quintrell in any parish of Cornwall.
